Château de Bénouville

Built by Claude Nicolas Ledoux. The castle is the property of the département (roughly equivalent to the county) of Calvados. One of the French Neoclassical style's most innovative creations (18th century). Guided tours of the salons and the grand staircase. Visit lasts 45 minutes. Exhibitions (vary each year).
